The ants are the most amazing creatures I have ever seen. If you take your time to study them, you will discover a lot of lessons from the ants. Research shows over 22,000 species of ants despite their small look and short lifespan. They can carry things that are heavier than them. So, we look at the wisdom principles learned from the ants.

What does the Bible say about ants?
“Go to the ant, thou sluggard; and be wise, which having no guide, overseer, or rule, provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.” Proverbs 6:6-8.

“The ants are people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer.” Proverbs 30:25.

As a believer, do you lack the wisdom principles?

Wisdom principles are a set of biblical rules that guide step toward fulfilling one’s purpose and achieving success in life.
The ants are one of the creatures with great value you can learn from
Let us consider some life-changing wisdom principles to learn from the ants.

  1. The Principle of Design:

Ants are good architects. They are blessed naturally with the art of designing the ant’s hill. That shows they are good planners and align with God’s purpose. When you see the ants running around, you think they are confused. Not at all. They are only working toward their plans. As a Christian, if you don’t know what to do with your life in the journey of life. You’re lost already.
  2. The principle of involvement:

Everyone in the ant family has a job assigned to do. They do not sit around doing nothing. As a believer, be engaged. Don’t waste your precious time on things that will not add value to your life and destiny. Stay busy. Ecclesiastes 9:10.
  3. The Principle of Relationships:

One of the things that make the ants succeed is that they relate. They work in agreement to achieve success. Outshining each other is not in their mindset. All they ever wanted was for the job to be done. Build relationships with others. Don’t break the link.
  4. The Principle of Sharing:

The ants look out for one another and take care of each other. They don’t eat alone; they share a home, ideas, food, and responsibilities.
  5. The Principle of Unity:

The ants are united. They walk in unity and stand for one another. There is a bond of unity between them, so they can achieve a common goal and win a battle against a common enemy. Remember, united will stand, divided will fall. Ecclesiastes 4:12.
  6. The Principle of Readiness:

That is the act of getting ready. Oh yes, the ants are always prepared, be it in winter or summer. They don’t procrastinate; they are organized and prepared to face challenges and emerge victorious. Some believers don’t prepare on time until what they want to do is closed. When you fail to prepare, then you have prepared to fail.
  7. The principle of Determination:

The ants have decided never to fail, no matter what obstacles stand before them; they keep trying to find a way out. If they carry any object and it falls off, they look for other means of grabbing it. They don’t give up easily.
  8. The Principle of Interest:

The ants are concerned to see that others do well and succeed. They give a helping hand in times of need. Any time one out of them has a big catch, you see them coming to help. How often are you ready to work with your team? Are you not always at loggerheads with them?
  9. Principle of Maximizing Opportunity:

Ants never waste opportunities; they use every opportunity that comes their way. God gave you several ideas to better your life, but what do you do with those opportunities? You waste them. All you do is provide an excuse or another. Start to maximize every opportunity that comes your way.
  10. Principle of Exchange Information:

The ants are good at exchanging words. Information is vital; the ants are good at that. They do not keep secrets. Serviceable information that others can benefit from, the message goes around, and everyone is happy. What kind of information do you pass? Is it the one that people benefit from or the one that destabilizes one?
  11. Principle of Persistence:

The ants don’t lose hope; they keep hope alive through perseverance. They face difficulty. Don’t abandon the project God committed to your hands; pick it up, and you will succeed if you persist.
  12. Principle of Storage:

They don’t waste resources and time. They understand that whatever they gather must be preserved for future needs. Many believers waste God’s assets, grace, and gifts. Learn to maintain what God deposited in you; don’t lavish away your God-given resources.
  13. Principle of Hard work:

The ants are not lazy by nature; they are one of the most hardworking sets of insects. When studied, you see their intelligence work; the ant’s hill is the work of diligence. You can never be successful if you are not industrious.
  14. Principle of Timing:

The ants are good event planners; they understand the rules of time. They gather food in the dry season. Because they are small and can easily blown away by water and wind, they do most of their work in the summer.
  15. Principle of Solitude:

The act of being alone is one of the principles the ants implement in their life. They withdraw and restrategies. As a believer, you need to learn the principle of retreat to refresh, replan, and strategize yourself against the forces of darkness affecting your life and destiny.
  16. Principle of Motion:

Ants are not stagnant. They are always on the move for progression. Change is a constant thing. In life, don’t be stagnant. Keep moving and pray to the Lord to order your step until you reach your promised land.
  17. Principle of Defence:

The ant possesses the strength to move quickly in danger, which is one of its defensive practices. When you notice danger around you, give immediate attention to it. Apply both physical and spiritual methods—don’t skip one for another.
  18. Principle of Concentration:

They are hard to distract. They do their work with maximum focus. Every distraction the devil brings your way is to make you lose focus on heavenly vision. Be focus
