Seduction they say is an art that ignites desire in the heart.
As I Walked through a neighborhood I used to live in years ago, a young girl shocked me by staring at me from a distance. I thought to myself, is anything wrong with my dress? Unfortunately, that was not the point. When I moved closer, I realised what she was up to. She began twisting her waist, playing with her tongue, blinking her eyes, and moving toward me to give me a touch.
I knew who she was when I saw her clothes. I thought to myself,’ Oh God! What a wasted life.’ It always scares me to give younger ones my phone to play with, with the things you see on social media today. Teenagers have gone wild with the way many of them are influenced. One of the spirits the devil is using to fight this age is the spirit called seduction. If care is not taken by believers who claim to stand firm but are not watchful and prayerful, you will become a victim, which I never pray happens.
Let’s analyse this tricky topic and explore how it shows up in our lives, how it distances us from God, and what we can do to tear down the grip of seduction and approach God with love.

What Does the Bible Say About Seduction?
According to Merriam-Webster, seduction is the enticement of a person to sexual intercourse, temptation, or something that attracts or charms.
It means to lure someone into disobedience, leading someone astray by false promises, enticing into sexual immorality, or tempting either with money or other means.
In other words, it is bewitchment, casting a spell on someone, or manipulating them. It is capturing the total sense of a person or being in maximum control of someone’s life.
Seduction is one of the demonic doctrines the devil uses to afflict the world presently. The spirit behind seduction is the spirit of error.
This spirit is the forerunner of other sins.
We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. By this, we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. 1John 4:6.
Seduction is an end-time spirit. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. 2Timothy 3:13KJV. It overthrows one and takes one captive.
Ways Someone Can Seduce You:
Many ways can seduce people, and in this article, we’ll explore three of them.
Seduction can come in different ways. Some of these ways are:
- Through Contact
It involves coming into contact with them. This could include hand touch, eye contact, wearing your clothes, handkerchief, and rings.
- Through Word:
Words are powerful, and spiritual beings are more susceptible to spoken words than anything else because they created all things with them. The demonic agents understand this great weapon and often use it to capture human minds and souls. It could also come in the form of music or letters.
- Through Intake:
You can also be seduced by the things you consume and breathe in. As a Christian, you need to be mindful of what you eat and inhale because some things like foods, drinks, perfume, roses, and powder, can disrupt your life.

Final thought
Seduction is real, but you don’t have to apply physical means alone.
